Grew up an Air Force brat living all over the world, saying yes sir, no sir, yes ma'am, no ma'am. Enlisted in 1981 right after high school graduation and I have been working in and for the military since. I put God, country and family first and foremost in my life and live by an oath I first took on July 14, 1981.
From being in and around the military my entire life, I was taught the valuable lesson of training, more training, and even more training. Being prepared is not something that just happens. It will take planning, practice, and when the time arises, implementation.
This is where Urban-Prepper comes in. We want to be your go to source for the information and resources that you will need when that time does arise.

United States Army Reserve, Ammunition Specialist
Career educator in mathematics, information technology, and firearms safety.
Former owner of Safety Net Firearms Training.
On May 10, 1985 I took the Oath of Enlistment and firmly believe that oath is lifelong. To that end I have spent a lifetime working to educate others in various subjects hoping to make our country better and stronger.
That said, it should be evident that I believe in training (repetitive) in order to be PREPARED for whatever comes our way. It is not by chance that the military spends so much time & money on training their troops, it is done to ensure a state of preparedness at all times!
Remember this, if you dont have a plan, if you dont practice alternate routes to shelters, if you dont practice Stop, Drop, and Cover, it wont be something that is second nature, or comes natural. Being prepared takes time, it takes planning, and it takes practice.

Our Mission is to make Urban-Prepper your preferred information destination to provide you with the resources to ensure you are PREPARED to SURVIVE and RECOVER from the natural and man-made disasters life throws our way.

Our Vision is to PREPARE people to react to chaotic situations in a calculated fashion, and SURVIVE.
